Q. Where are your garments manufactured?

A. All of our garments are manufactured in Barbados at our ​Newton, Christ Church plant.

 

Q. Can I wash my screen-printed school crests?

A. Yes, your screen-printed crests are completely machine-washable and will not fade unless used with extremely strong detergent or bleach. We encourage customers to use a gentle (bleach-free) detergent to wash our garments. For best results, it is recommended not to dry in direct sunlight, but rather in a shaded or semi-shaded area. 

 

Q. Can I put my screen-printed school crests in the dryer?

A. Yes, putting the shirts/blouses with a screen-printed crest in a dryer will not damage the print whatsoever. Do remember not to use any harsh cleaners during the washing and/or drying process. 

 

Q. Can I iron my screen-printed school crests? 

A. NO. When ironing your garments with screen-printed crests, turn the shirts/blouses on the reverse side before ironing. You can however, press over the crest once it is turned inside out. Do not leave the hot iron over the crest for long periods of time.

 

Q. Will my screen-printed crests fade if washed in a machine?

A. No, your screen-printed crests are produced using the highest quality of ink and will therefore not fade when laundered in a washing machine. See above for best washing/drying results. 

 

Q. Do you have another location or outlet?

A. We presently do not have any other location. Our factory and retail shop are both located in Newton Industrial Park, Christ Church. All school and corporate sales take place from our Newton plant.  

 

Q. Where else can our brand of school uniforms be purchased?

A. Some of our Young Junior, Beatrice & Stag brands of school uniforms are also available through F.W. Woolworth & Co. in Bridgetown Barbados. 

 

Q. How do I know the correct sizing for me?

A. When you visit our factory in Newton Industrial Park, we have a full set of school uniforms for students to fit to ensure that they receive the correct size. The same goes for most of our corporate uniforms. Our friendly staff is there to guide you and help you find the best fit.

Q. Do you deliver?

A. Currently, we only offer our free delivery service for corporate orders. Delivery of school uniform orders is not offered at this time.

 

Q. Do you offer embroidery services?

A. We do not offer embroidery services in house at Yankee Garments. However, we would be pleased to recommend an embroidery service for your company. Kindly note that all discussions regarding artwork, colour and design are between the client and the embroidery company. Embroidery and printing services are billed to clients directly by the embroidery/printing company.

Q. Can I return an item?

A. Yes, we have a 30 (thirty) day return policy. For an item to be eligible for return and refund, it must be unwashed and in its original packaging with any tags or labels still attached. Items which have been used or altered in any way cannot be returned or exchanged. See below.
